    Analyses of uniaxial compressive mechanical properties and anisotropic characteristics of anchored rock mass

    • In order to examine the effect of the arrangement of the bolt on the strength and deformation of the cement mortar specimen, uniaxial compressive tests on the cement mortar specimen with bolt were carried out. The test results show that (1) the connection of the cross section of the bolt is linear or square, with the increasing number of bolts, the compressive strength and elastic modulus of the specimen will gradually increase, and the change law of peak strain is not fixed. (2) When the connection of the cross section of the bolt is linear and the number of bolts in the specimen is the same, both the compressive strength and elastic modulus of the specimen, when the loading direction is perpendicular to the connection line of cross section of bolts, are higher than those when the loading direction is parallel to the connection line of cross section of bolts.
