    A modified Terzaghi’s method on soil arching in piled embankments

    • 摘要: 桩承式路堤的关键问题在于桩体荷载分担比的计算,其主要方法是土拱理论。本文在传统太沙基土拱理论的基础上,通过改进边界条件、侧向土压力系数和考虑变形等三个因素对其进行了改进和修正,建议土拱高度取值为1.4(s-a),并考虑路堤沉降对侧向土压力系数k的影响,建立了改进的土拱效应计算方法。通过对两个工程实例的计算,本文提出的计算结果和实测结果具有很好的一致性,而且反映出了土体应力分布规律、土拱作用机理以及土拱的作用范围。

       

      Abstract: The key issue in piled embankments is the load ratio between pile and soil,which is greatly dependant on soil arching theory.Based on Terzaghi’s soil arching theory,a modified method is introduced through the revision on boundary condition,lateral pressure parameter and deformation.In this model,the soil arching height is 1.4(s-a) and the lateral earth pressure parameter is dependant on the deformation.The new method is used to calculate 2 cases,the computed results keep good agreements with mea...
