Abstract: With the development of urbanization, human engineering activities caused a series of geo-hazards, which caused a huge casualties and economic. This paper constructs the urbanization and the geo-hazards index system, using the TOPSIS method to analyze the coupling relationship between urbanization of geo-hazards based on data during 2003-2013. The study found that the coordinated relationship between urbanization and geological disasters in China gradually improved in 2000-2013. The prevention and control of geo-disasters has achieved good results in China.
